Our Pastor
In 1989, while attending Faith Evangelical Christian Church in Yonkers, NY, Rev. Dr. Duane Newton accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. From an early age, the hand of the Lord was on him. The Lord taught him to use his gifts and talents for his glory.
Rev. Dr. Duane Newton married his beautiful wife, Anecia Neufville, in 1998. The couple joined the Holiness Christian Church of the Bronx (HCC) in the year 2000. Two years later Rev. Dr. Duane Newton was ordained as a minister of the gospel. Rev. Dr. Duane Newton and his wife served in various capacities in HCC for 17 years. Meanwhile, Rev. Dr. Duane Newton obtained his Masters of Arts degree in Theology and his Doctorate of Philosophy Degree from Trinity Theological Seminary in Brooklyn, NY. During this time the couple also had three children. In 2017, Rev. Dr. Duane Newton resigned from HCC. He and his family began supporting other churches in Bronx, NY and Westchester County.
Our Church
In March 2020, amidst a pandemic, the Lord directed Rev. Dr. Duane Newton to begin a ministry in Danbury, CT. In obedience to the Lord, Redeeming Life Christian Center (RLCC) was established. RLCC is a nondenominational multicultural church dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the community while working to help those in need.
Thanks to the blessings of the Lord, RLCC is growing and remains active in person and online today. Contact Us
